hi! i wanna become a fan of c-ute but am struggling to find english subbed content!! do u know anything like that out there? thanks in advance !

Thanks for reaching out to us and for your patience! Unfortunately, I'm not a huge Hello! Project (the company c-ute was under) fan so I'm not sure where to point you for subbed content in the current era.

Given when c-ute was active, I'm not sure what if anything was made available online. I'm sure c-ute had interviews, TV appearances, etc but I have no idea if the Western fan culture translated those or not. The best place to look would be on livejournal for H!P and or c-ute focused blogs/communities. However given how long it's been, I don't know if those spaces still exist or are active. Billibilli might be an option as well but again, not sure what if anything is out there.

I think a sub-unit with Risako & Maimai would have been nice to see, as the youngest members of their respective groups, both had voices that people would either love or hate but could be used right and both were super beautiful and had visuals that would stand out in their groups that were already full of other pretty girls. Remember when ℃-ute was in a competition where Yajima Maimi was supposed to look out for special eggs while driving a go-kart, but she enjoyed the ride so much that she forgot to even look for them? Then her juniors just berated her…

Eternal awaits

In preparation for watching My Beautiful Man: Eternal which is finally available in subtitled English—thanks, Gagaoolala—I'm rewatching the series to refresh my memory.

Somehow I had forgotten this scene which seriously got to me this time and made the whole "Hira is Kiyoi's slave but he takes charge in bed" thing make total sense. Someone did that to me at that age…'nuff said.

Also, if you've heard the series is a little challenging, here's a great breakdown comparing it with Semantic Error (which is delightful…but not challenging).
